Basalt Fiber Roving is a cluster merged of parallel strands without twisting. The tensile sterngth of 7-13μm roving is over 0.65N/tex, elasticity modulus over 95Gpa, breaking elongation over 2.6%.
Basalt fiber not only hasBasalt fiber not only has high strength, high modulus and impact resistance comparable to high-tech fibers such as PPTA (polyphenylene terephthalamide) and UHMWPE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene). Moreover, it has excellent high temperature resistance and light resistance, especially its high interface bonding strength with resin.
Therefore, various specifications of basalt roving can be used for weaving, winding and weaving various composite prefabricated parts.
